Seal Coating

 

The parking lot or driveway will be thoroughly cleaned of all dirt and debris, so that we can achieve proper adhesion between the sealer and your asphalt. All concrete edges, light poles, parking curbs, etc. will be cut in by hand to avoid overspray. Our sealer is applied with state-of-the-art equipment; agitated material tank (this lets us keep the quartz sand suspended in our tank for even distribution on your asphalt); air powered dual diaphragm pumps for consistent pressure at the spray tip; our large material tanks let us seal up to 180,000 sq. ft. before shutting down to refill. This allows your parking lot to be opened back up sooner. At SPS, we apply the highest quality sealer on the market. We mix in additives that strengthen and add flexibility to the sealer to improve its performance, and add the proper amounts of fine quartz sand to increase resistance to tire wear and decrease the frequency of necessary re-seals.

 

Crack Sealing

 

All open cracks ¼” or larger will be thoroughly cleaned, blown out, and sealed using high-grade rubberized hot-applied crack sealer.

 

Pothole Repair and Patching

 

We can choose the most economical repair for your particular need. In some instances, all you have is a surface failure. These are properly repaired by milling off the top lift of asphalt and placing new asphalt in the area removed. If there is any evident base failure, we will completely remove the area down to the base, re-compact the underlying base material, and install a completely new asphalt patch.
